Cheetah, The Huntress

The Cheetah "The specialist Huntress" is the fastest land animal in the World, reaching speeds of 112km/h. Loss of habitat and prey has classified this beautiful big cat as vulnerable on the IUCN Red list.

I wanted to make this picture contemporary and powerful showing the speed and concentration this female Cheetah possesses on its daily struggle to hunt and survive on the grasslands of Africa and the Middle East.
