Artistic Journey
Having worked in London in production graphics for 22 years I now am a full time artist. Producing Contemporary, Abstract and Landscape work, mostly Oils and acrylic on Canvas and wood panels.
My first real experience into the world of being an professional artist was strengthened when I lived in Southern Spain. The light and the big skies just inspired me to paint and express my view of the landscape around me. It is here that I started to develop my love for the impressionist painters like Claude Monet and Paul Cezanne.
This then developed more when I moved back to North Essex and the area of Manningtree on the River Stour Estuary. This area famous for the Artist John Constable again inspired me to paint this beautiful location and to pick out unique views and varied styles to capture the moment .
I continue to look at new ways to put down what I see onto canvas and I hope you enjoy this journey with me. Thank you.
